Energy Star – New Glass Label

Vinylbilt Updates their Energy Star & CSA Labels

  • As of October 1 st 2010, the Energy Star qualification levels for windows and doors became more stringent.
  • Part of this initiative included the mandatory labelling of all production models registered with NRCan.
  • As a result, Vinylbilt has modified its glass label to comply with the new Energy Star requirements, and began applying the new label to all windows.
  • The new label is an additional 5 inches in height and is perforated to allow the homeowner to remove and keep for future reference.
  • All of the required data has been added at the bottom of each qualified window label.
  • It also includes the Energy Zones for each window, U-Value, ER Number and CSA Certification for each window type.
  • Vinylbilt windows have gone through rigorous testing for thermal performance to be Energy Star qualified to the latest standards and they are proud of their Certification Record.
